Nigel leads the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution team and has experience in a wide variety of litigation matters including deceased estate litigation, family provision claims, contractual and construction disputes, trust and property matters.

Nigel has an instinctive ability to identify and analyse the factors that might affect a client’s situation and to outline the sequence of steps to achieve their desired results. He brings a level of objectivity that helps him to anticipate obstacles that might stand in his clients’ way and handle them proactively. While others might shy away from complex cases with unique quirks, Nigel embraces them and thrives on the task of unravelling complexities through good judgement, sound reasoning and a practical approach.

Nigel works closely with the firm’s technology partner, ContactsLaw to develop systems that enable the firm to dramatically reduce costs and improve service quality. He has also led the development of the firm’s innovative debt collection service, Get Paid Debt Collection.

As a recipient of the prestigious New Colombo Plan Scholarship, Nigel spent 2017 studying at Renmin University of China, Beijing and at the Chinese University of Hong Kong; as well as travelling the Asia-Pacific Region.

Nigel enjoys a variety of activities including scuba diving, triathlon and running. Additionally, Nigel has been competing in the Avon Descent (kayaking) for several years.
